About

DJ CQuel has a versatile style of mixing and scratching which has made him the ideal open format DJ.  His sets are characterized with high energy and music that will have you moving to the beat.  His years as a mobile DJ has given him the adaptability to have your hands in the air with House music, bobbing your head to hip hop, and chanting to 80’s anthems all in one set.

His DJ roots began at UNLV in 2002 doing college parties, tailgates, and formals/weddings.  This is where he discovered his uncanny ability to cater music to any crowd he played for, playing any party from a 1950’s sock hop to Toga parties. During his time at UNLV he began to branch out with residencies and guest spots throughout Las Vegas.

During the latter part of 2007 he became the DJ of Las Vegas Hip Hop funk soul band RNR. During his time with the band he has gained notoriety by playing such venues as the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood to the Joint inside the Hard Rock. He has also worked alongside and opened for the likes of Snoop Dogg, Mya, and Busta Rhymes among others.  DJ CQuel has always touted himself as being a mobile DJ for life which allows the continuation of being a multifaceted DJ that can span every genre.  This ability also garnered him bigger events as he was the featured DJ for such events as The Color Run and Hip Hop International.

2011 was the full transformation into a club/lounge DJ as he had guest spots and residencies all over Las Vegas.  Some of the lounges he has held residencies were Hearthstone of Clique Hospitality and Stack of Hakkasan Group.   DJ CQuel has also played in Nightclubs and Dayclubs all over the famous Las Vegas Strip, Liquid Pool Lounge, 1 Oak Nightclub, Bank Nightclub just to name a few.  Be on the lookout for DJ CQuel as he will be a fixture in the Las Vegas club scene for years to come.

I decided to do a Hip Hop mix with old school tracks as well as some top 40 hip hop to appease all people out there. There is something for the Hip Hop heads and then some new school bangers.

With pool season coming up. Decided to do a mix that you could hear at one of the many Las Vegas pool parties.
